Description
It’s been a minute since Virgil Abloh’s Off White had dropped a sneaker with Nike, but it was most definitely worth the wait. The silhouette Virgil got his hands on this time around was the Air Jordan 4, a shoe he has not collaborated on before. We have seen this colourway on several occasions over the last year. Firstly, at the “Figures of Speech” exhibit, Chicago, then again in Off-White’s Paris FW20 show. We are glad to finally see a release date set with the 25th of July. The sneaker was also placed on eBay recently by Abloh to raise money for various Black Lives Matter organisations. Fetching a final sale price of around $186,859.49 you know the hype for Off-White collaborations shows no signs of slowing down. This Jordan 4 comes dressed in an extremely minimalist colourway, featuring Sail, Cream and White accents throughout. The classic Jordan hangtag also in cream, staying consistent with the rest of the shoe. How do we know this is another Virgil Abloh collaboration? You have the ever-present Off-White zip-tie for instant recognition, as well as the notable “AIR” branding on the heel. The minimalist design of this sneaker all but guarantees it will become a grail for sneakerheads Worldwide and one you do not want to miss.
